An initial chemistry session is held to assess coach and coachee fit and suitability, following which a more formal discussion around the desired outcomes takes place, leading to an agreement on goals to be achieved from the coaching. This may or may not include the coachee’s manager or report creating a triangle for the coach, coachee and manager to agree on desired outcomes. With outcomes agreed, coaching sessions are conducted at three-week intervals allowing time for the embedding and implementation of thoughts and ideas.
A standard coaching program comprises 8 to 10 one-hour sessions. Sessions are scheduled three weeks apart for the duration of the program. Depending on location and accessibility some sessions may be conducted via Zoom, however, face-to-face meetings are highly recommended.
The process is reviewed at the mid-way point to ensure we are on track to achieving the agreed outcomes and goals with a final review at the conclusion.
